John Pangas is a software engineer building agentic AI tools for software engineering and complex business problems. He has over four years of experience turning machine-learning systems into useful workflows, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, software-engineering specialization, at the University of Calgary.
His research and open-source work sits at the intersection of large language models, software teams, and operational decision-making: how AI agents can reduce the friction between idea and shipped code while bringing value to businesses. He has contributed to Scikit-learn and Mozilla's Bugbug, and is currently collaborating with Mozilla on developing tools for engineering effectiveness.
